Clothing Accepted
We accept a minimum deposit of 6 items, bags, and fashion accessories in excellent condition for women. The items must be relevant to the current season.
Selection Criteria
We select products based on their appeal, quality, rarity, and general condition. Only clothing in good condition will be accepted: they must be washed and free of stains, tears, holes, discoloration, or other signs of wear. We do not accept fast fashion items from brands such as Ardene, Garage, Forever 21, or H&M.
Pre-Selection
A pre-selection is done on site, but during the evaluation of the clothes and the awarding of prizes, some items may be excluded. It is therefore important to count your items carefully.
When dropping off in-store, you are invited to fill out a form that serves as proof of your agreement to consign with Bee’s Knees.
Consignment Agreement Form
Submission by Email
If you cannot visit the store, you have the option to submit your items by email to info@boutiquebeesknees.com. In this case, please include:
- Your name, email address and telephone number.
- Clear photos of each garment, showing the brand label and the composition label.
- Information on the condition of the clothing, particularly whether they have any damage.
If your submission is accepted, you will receive a message within 10 business days. Depending on the case, a Canada Post shipping label and delivery instructions may be provided to you.
Evaluation and Selling Price
Once your items are accepted, they will be evaluated and subjected to a quality control check. Minor touch-ups may be necessary, such as finishing, removing stains, or repairs.
Price Fixing
Bee's Knees will set the consignment price and the commission percentage based on the evaluation of the items. You will then receive a price list for each consigned item.
Selling Price Structure
Here is the structure of selling prices and the discounts applied:
- For sales from $0.00 to $39.99: 30% off
- For sales from $40.00 to $119.99: 40% off
- For sales of $120.00 to $179.99: 50% off
- For sales of $180.00 to $399.99: 60% off
- For sales of $400.00 and above: 70% off
By consigning with Bee's Knees, you agree to all price changes during discount and sale periods.
Sales Tracking
All consignment items at Bee's Knees are inventoried. You have access to this inventory through the consignor portal, which allows you to easily track the status of your items. It is important to keep track of your sales to not miss anything. If we do not hear from you for 3 months, you may incur service fees on the sales amount.
You will receive an email informing you of the steps to follow to collect your payments on the 15th day of each month.
Recovery of Sales Money
On the 15th day of each month, an email is sent to the depositors to inform them of the sales recorded from the previous month. You then have 7 days to request a refund for your sales. If you do not respond within this timeframe, your earnings will be carried over.
Payment Options
For total sales of less than $50, you can choose:
- To collect your cash in person at the store.
- To request a bank transfer with a fee of $1.50.
- To accumulate your earnings until reaching $50.
"All you need to do is reply to the email on the 15th, and we will prepare your payment."
For a total sales amount equal to or greater than $50, an Interac transfer will be made. Simply reply to the email mentioning your name, the month of sales, and the amount to be recovered. The transfer will be completed within 7 business days following your request.
*A fee of 15% on your sales will be applied if we do not hear from you for two months.
Responsibility of Articles
Although we do our best to protect your items, Bee's Knees is not responsible for damage caused by customers or theft, unless a written agreement is in place.
Shelf Life of Items
Items can be kept for up to 6 months, depending on the time and season of receipt. You will receive a notification for the return of items if necessary.
Recovery of Unsold Items
If the items are not sold by the end of the consignment period, you must be prepared to collect them within 7 days when we notify you of their availability. After this period, Bee’s Knees reserves the right to dispose of the items (for example, donations or additional discounts).
Termination
Engagement : Consignors must be ready to part with their items once deposited. After selection, items cannot be retrieved during the sales period, unless they remain unsold after 6 months and you have indicated that you wish to retrieve them.
It is possible to retrieve your items before the end of the consignment period by informing us in advance. A period of approximately 30 days is necessary to organize the return. Just send us the list of items to be gathered.

We do not prioritize the return of items during the sale period.
